With locations in Flowood and the heart of Fondren, Aladdin is one of the top picks for authentic, fresh-tasting Mediterranean fare. The hummus is arguably one of the best in the city, and the lamb is great.
Aladdin is a success story we love. Opened as a bare-bones all-night Mediterranean/burger take-out joint near UMC; employee and his wife take over, remodel and turn it into one of the hottest restaurants in town. We liked Aladdin’s menu before the changeover—and we love it now. There are plenty of vegetarian options on the fresh menu, and the atmosphere is kitschy-nice in the way that it should be, considering it’s next to the Lakeland Conoco in Fondren.
