Anne Moody
Anne Moody, born September 15, 1940, is an African-American author famed for her autobiography, Coming of Age in Mississippi, an account of her experiences both growing up in a poor, rural black community, and later in the Civil RIghts Movement.
Moody was born in Centrevill, MS, and attended Tougaloo College.
