Drake Deville is a producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist from Jackson, Mississippi.
A self-taught musician, audio recording engineer, and recording enthusiast from an early age, Drake Deville creates music that is a unique blend of funk, rock, hip-hop, blues and other styles. Drake Deville’s albums, which are mostly EP length, include Double Life (2009), Connects (2007), and Funktacular (2005).
Determined never to allow the business of music to adversely influence the music and strongly embracing the indie aesthetic, Drake Deville has leveraged nothing other than local and online distribution for the last 10 years. Drake Deville’s music is not, and has never been, for sale - it is freely available for download from www.drakedeville.com, as well as from myspace and other sites online.
Drake Deville is continually working on new projects and collaborating with other musicians in the Jackson area.
