Southwest and American Airlines have cancelled all flights for rest of the day Monday (Sept. 1) at least until about 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Jackson County offices and courts - closed through Tuesday
Schools & Colleges are all closed for Tuesday, Sept. 2, at least.
Hinds County Community College Normal operations resuming noon Tuesday, classes resuming Tuesday night.
Alcorn State University Classes canceled through Friday, Sept. 5, will resume Mondy, Sept. 8. Staff to return Thursday.

G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center outpatient clinics in Natchez and Meadville Tuesday. The clinics in Jackson and the medical center’s other community-based outpatient clinics remain open. Veterans unable to keep a scheduled appointment should call before the appointment time either the clinic directly or telephone advice at (601) 368-4492 or 1-800-949-1009, ext. 4492.
