This is not the first honor bestowed on Huntington’s Grille, which also received an Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator in 2006. The atmosphere is cool and masculine, accented with dark wood and deep green carpets, but the food is exciting enough to keep your spirits up. Why not start with the soft shell crabs with chipotle butter sauce or roasted quail eggs glazed in clover honey over grits? For an entrée you can choose between New Zealand Elk Tenderloin topped with raspberry and white balsamic demi-glace or Colorado rack of lamb with a mint reduction over maple roasted sweet potatoes. There’s also an ample selection of seafood including seared sashimi tuna and wood-fired redfish. The wine list is nothing to sniff at, either. - Nientara Anderson
