Jackson Street District

The Jackson Street District is Ridgeland’s original neighborhood and business district. Dating back over 100 years, it originally contained the railroad station, post office, hotel, church, general store, and several homes.  Formerly referred to as Old Town, the Jackson Street District is undergoing a rebirth.  We are a neighborhood and a business district.  A mix of the new and the old. We are home to artists and art galleries, locally owned shops, independent restaurants, and more.
