Jacqueline Nassar
Jacqueline Nassar is from Clarksdale, Mississippi. She started playing the drums when she was about 7 years old and the guitar at the age of 8. She is very focused on her songwriting, and everything you hear on her myspace page she wrote, sang, and played all of the instruments. She is very versatile, playing original rock songs as well as just about anything you could think to ask her to play.
Jacqueline graduated from the Arts and Education Program at the Delta Blues Museum in 2000 as Most Outstanding Student. While with the band “Blues Prodigy”, she won the WC Handy Kids Foundation Award. Jacqueline also won the first “Robert Johnson Award”. She has also written music with Jude and Steve Azar. She has opened for BB King, Rebecca Lynn Howard, and a host of others.
Bob Marley once said, “Music will never turn its back on you”. This is the truth and the reason Jacqueline keeps playing and writing. She loves that people from outside of Clarksdale are listening to her music. Jacqueline is a very talented person and anyone who hears her music will be entranced!!!

Jacqueline is playing in Jackson and is quickly becoming one of Jackson’s favorites. She truly loves playing in Jackson and her favorite venues are Time Out Sports Cafe and Fenian’s Pub!!!
