Jerusalem Café
Jerusalem is a little different that the Mediterranean Cafe on Old Canton. Less seafood, more meat and veggie options. We started with the fried Kibbie. WOW. Salad was a feta salad. A little salty, I must say. My wife had the veggie plate. I sampled, and it was wonderful. I am not even sure (other than the hummus and the tabbouleh what I ate) but it was wonderful. I had the swarma pasta. WOW. That is all I can say WOW. Also come hungry. The portions were HUGE.
The bad stuff: beer selection is OK, wine SUCKS. There is Lebanese Tea which is tasty for the non-alcoholic choice. For the budget concerned—appetizer, two salads, Lebanese tea, two imported beers and two dinner entrees cost 28 bucks (without tip).
JFP foodie AGamm627 on the lamb shank ($11.99): “Amazingly tender, melted off the bone, can’t say enough.”
