3. Local Troubadours: Fondren Theatre Workshop - whenever & wherever we happen to appear next
4. Local Flora & Fauna: The Mississippi Museum of Natural History - beautifully celebrating our environment
5. Local Color: The Mississippi Museum of Art - enriching our community by showcasing local, regional, national and international artists--bringing the world right to our own doorstep (and don’t forget the gift shop!)
6. Local History: The Cedars Historic Home - rescued & restored as a community arts center and available for rental for any and all kinds of special occasions - see you at Symphony at Sunset!
7. Local Landmark: Brents Drugs and Soda Fountain - the oldest of its kind in the state, and one of the few places left where you can really take a step back in time
8. Local Menagerie: The Jackson Zoo - need I say more?
9. Local Coming Attraction: The soon-to-be completed Mississippi Childrens Museum - conceived, developed, and built by local volunteers and destined to be a jewel of education and fun that draws people from all over the state and the country to find out how to help get it completed!
