Magnolia Roller Vixens
Magnolia Roller Vixens is a community-wise sports initiative for adult females. Our purpose is for fun, friendly sports competition among like-minded women. Magnolia Roller Vixens promotes and fosters the sport of women’s flat track roller derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among its team members and staff. The governing philosophy is “by the skaters, for the skaters.” The league adopts the rules and regulations of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.
The Magnolia Roller Vixens was founded by Lizbeth Von Lush, Ishee Ruthless, Err’n Geaux Brawl, Rowdy Reeta Ricochet, and Kat A. Tonic in April 2008 and has grown from 5 original members to a current roster of 11 skaters. All participants are unpaid amateurs and the league provides insurance coverage for practices and bouts.
