McCrorys Department Store
My very first job was at McCrory’s Department Store in downtown Jackson. They had old wooden floors, ceiling fans and the entire store smelled musty. Like a lot of stores back then, they had hot roasted nuts and candies that had to be weighed up upon purchase.
