The Mississippi Native Plant Society was fromed in 1980 to help us learn about and enjoy the plants native to our region. There is a wealth of beautiful and ecologically vital plants of which many are endangered or threatened with extinction. A goal of the MNPS is to make the public aware of the importance of our rich biological heritage and provide up-to-date plant information for home gardens and woodlands.
