NAMI Mississippi
Mission: NAMI Mississippi, founded in 1989, is a local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
NAMI Mississippi works to foster greater public awareness of serious mental illness and to overcome stigma and misconceptions that are associated with mental illness. NAMI MS offers free education programs and support groups for consumers (those with a mental illness diagnosis); family members and friends; as well as parents and caregivers of children with mental illness.
