I can still remember being overwhelmed with giddy “I want’s” anytime my mom took me to the Olde Tyme Commissary growing up. As one of Mississippi’s most well rounded toy stores for over 35 years, I’m sure there’s a few others who have similar memories about this wonderland of toys. The great selection of educational toys they offer are a huge part of this “hands-on” store. And, don’t forget to stop by the back of the store to have anything personalized with your name painted in big, bright bubble letters. A bulletin board or pencil box just isn’t complete without it.
