There are times you’ll forget you’re in a store as you explore the different rooms that wind you around the house where Persnickety has set up shop. Tables filled with picture frames, candles, dishes, lamps and so much more, are arranged in a way that feels so natural and inviting.
I dare you to sample the aroma of Thymes’ Kimono Rose products. I can’t quit thinking about it, so I’m going back to get the perfume today!
Some of their best selling items are the creative pieces from their selection of Peters Pottery, as well as the inspiring dinnerware and drinkware pieces from Annieglass.
Persnickety is also the only place in town you’ll find the artistic ceramic dinnerware from Mary Rose Young of England. Her whimsical and colorful style is absolutely one-of-a-kind.
My favorite “fun” item: Silky’s - Hot pink satin one side and velvet leopard print on the other, these are little reversible bloomers to add some style and pizazz to plain white diapers!
Take the Madison exit on I-55, go east on 463, Persnickety is a mile or two down on the left.
