Piccadilly @ Jackson Mall

This stub is for the Old Styled Piccadilly, prior to it’s renovation a couple of years ago.  With the dark carpet, dark wood paneling, every chair being a luxurious leather chair and great food, it was the highlight of dining out in years gone by.

I have a great memory of my first visit to Picadilly, piling my tray so full of little bowls of food that they had to carry it for me. Everyone was laughing at me. ;-) — Donna Ladd

Every Sunday, after church, my Dad would take the family to Picadilly.  Standing in line, peeking through the holes in the wooden divider, watching the other people eat that wonderful food!  I would always get the chopped steak, fries, and two yeast rolls to sop up the gravy...man, that was what Sunday dinner was meant to be.  I remember getting upset when my Mom went into labor with my sister one Sunday while at Picadilly, and we had to leave before I finished my meal.
