PULP: A Design Store is a shop located in the lobby of the Fondren Corner building. It was created by Jackson Free Press Art Director Darren Schwindaman in the summer of 2007.
The store has a mission statement of creating new and hip design objects borne out of Jackson institutions and in-jokes. The store’s current offerings include t-shirts, buttons and design books.
All Pulp t-shirts are hand-silkscreened onto American Apparel t-shirts. American Apparel shirts are all made in the U.S. by workers making a living wage. They are extremely soft 100% cotton and feature stylish fits.
The Pulp brand will encompass a stylish, edgy lifestyle that is conscious of well-designed local products.
