This festival is a fundraiser for The Good Samaritan Center and will include a huge outdoor flea market, a space jump for kids, food and all the free ice cream you can eat courtesy of Blue Bell Ice Creamery. Executive Director, Kathy Clem says, “how can you go wrong with neat used things for sale and free ice cream. This is a great way to raise funds by selling things people donate that are not needed by our clients, such as golf clubs and knick knacks.” All proceeds from the festival will go to support the programs of The Good Samaritan Center.
Early Bird shoppers may come at 7 AM for a $5 admission charge. General Admission will be $2 for Adults, $1 for Kids under 12, and under age 3 free, at 9 AM for festival shoppers.
The Good Samaritan Center is a non-profit social service agency serving Hinds, Rankin and Madison Counties. The Center’s mission is to assist families and individuals in emergency situations.
