Shucker’s is a little slice of New Orleans in nearby Ridgeland, Miss., right across from the Ross Barnett Reservoir. It serves oysters just about every way you can imagine, including steamed, fried and raw on the half shell (just to name a very few). Shucker’s serves various seafood dishes, including mahi mahi, soft shell crab, shrimp and redfish as well as more traditional bar fare, such as hot wings, cheese sticks, blooming onions and fried dill pickle chips. Wednesday night is ladies night and on Monday, Saturday and Sunday Shucker’s offers $2 Landshark and Cactus Lime-flavored Michelob Ultras. Shucker’s also offers free shuttle service to those in the Ridgeland area.
