Soulshine Pizza, which bills itself as “Homegrown in Mississippi,” again took top pizza honors for Best Pizza in 2007. The psychedelia-inspired pizza parlor wears its Mississippi roots with pride, boasting such menu selections as “The Mississippian” and “The Jacksonian.” (With its recent move outside the Capital City’s limits, perhaps Soulshine should create “The Flowoodian” and “The Ridgelandian” pizzas.) - Darren Schwindaman
