At last, there is a place in the metropolitan Jackson area designed for those who have given up on traditional ‘religious’ church services. Many people today are no longer interested in church-as-usual because: (1) worship services are too long, (2) sermons are boring and do not relate to daily living, (3) many pastors seem overly interested in money and not in people, [and] (4) guests feel embarrassed because they are put ‘on the spot’ by being asked to stand.

Wisdom, revelation, insight, know-how, inspiration, and supernatural energy are bestowed upon each Son and Daughter of this ministry. The season for receiving that necessary “push” to prosper holistically is ours NOW!

Our Commission is to make disciples - disciplined ones of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are committed to producing “A Powerful People” - people armed with the Word of God. The Church Triumphant is committed to remaining a nondenominational (free from religious barriers), multiracial, multicultural church dedicated to serve all.After fourteen (14) years of pulpit ministry and Biblical studies, on June 1, 1997, Pastor & Mrs. Adrian Ware opened the doors of The Church Triumphant. The Holy Spirit dictated that this church would be free from programs, fundraisers, and other man-made traditions that have robbed the Believer’s understanding the riches of the Word of God.
It would be a place where all people could come and receive a “Fresh Word from God”.
- We believe in one God who is triune in nature, revealing Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death and bodily resurrection, and in His future return to this earth in power.
- We believe that the Holy Bible is the eternal, infallible Word of God. It is the ultimate authority.
- We believe that the fall of mankind occurred when Adam sinned. Mankind thus was separated from original righteousness and made sinners by nature.
- We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and consist of all those who have been born-again. We believe that the born-again process consist of repentance, proper water baptism, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that justification is God’s judicial work done for man, whereby full pardon is granted to all who are born-again. Justification is the work that grants us peace with God.
- We believe that regeneration is a spiritual transformation wrought in the heart of the Believer by the Holy Spirit through anointed teaching of the Word of God.
- Regeneration begins at repentance and continues throughout the life of the Christian. Regeneration is manifested by victory over the flesh, the world, and satan.
- We believe that sanctification is an act of divine grace, whereby we gradually become more like our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the operation of the ministry offices and gifts for the perfecting and edifying of the Body of Christ.
- We believe that every Believer should receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Worship can be expressed through praise, hymns, dance, and drama.
- We believe that every believer should be committed to a local Bible-teaching, Bible-believing church.

At The Church Triumphant, we are pleased to have a third party Certified Public Accountant who keeps record of the monies that come into the ministry. Our Finance Minister and the Finance Ministry staff operate with the utmost care to record the tithe and offerings after each service. All giving is kept private.
Once all monies have been recorded and deposited into a local bank, the offering envelopes are sent to Chitwood & Chitwood, so that the amount of each giver can be credited in each individual’s account. At the end of the year, each person who has given into the ministry receives an annual contribution statement. The contribution statements are printed and sent directly to each giver.
All monetary gifts given to this ministry are tax-deductible. We encourage you to give freely. Your continued support helps us get the gospel to more and more people. Give with confidence because God Promises to bless those of us who are obedient in our giving. - Finance Ministry
History
The Church Triumphant began as “a word” in the heart of Pastor Adrian D. Ware. In June of 1977, Pastor Ware was attending a summer “revival meeting” when he went to the altar to receive the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Ware heard the call of God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ with such a reality that it shook his very being.
The experience he had on that night in 1977 created a hunger in him that would intensify more and more over the years. he began to build a daily relationship with God that has now spanned almost thirty (30) years.
After Pastor Ware married Tonya Hairston in December of 1995, they were attending The Church of Our Lord, when the call came from the Lord to begin The Church Triumphant of Jackson, Incorporated.
On Sunday, June 1, 1997, twenty (20) years after Pastor Ware’s original call, The Church Triumphant opened its doors at the then Harvey Hotel, now operating as the Clarion Hotel & Suites on Interstate 55 North in Jackson, Mississippi. For the very first service, seven (7) people were in attendance. Nevertheless, the ministry grew to just over three hundred (300) members at that location.
While at the hotel, The Church Triumphant purchased a twenty-nine (29) acre prime piece of property just alongside Interstate 220 North in North Jackson. This land acquisition was an awesome investment in the Church’s future. The Vision was clear that the ministry would be afforded one of the most convenient, highly visible properties in the metropolitan Jackson, Mississippi area.
Having outgrown the hotel’s facility, on December 31, 2001, The Church Triumphant moved to the Mississippi Sports Museum & Hall of Fame. While there, the ministry continues to thrive. Membership remained steady, affording time to lay the proper foundation as well as to teach and train leaders who would lead the ministry into its next level of growth.
On August 22, 2004, The Church Triumphant moved into its first dedicated edifice at the Odyssey North Shopping Center located at 731 South Pear Orchard Road, Suite 43 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. At this current location, growth and excitement has continued.
Currently, membership is at nearly five hundred (500) worshippers and growing! Additionally, more than six hundred (600) visitors are frequent guests at the ministry and call it “home”.
On a weekly basis, countless people are responding to the television and outreach ministries. The Church Triumphant expects a bright and prosperous future as it moves forward with its God-given mandate.
The 24 Ministries
Building Task Force - This entity of ministry is responsible for assisting the Senior Pastor with the planning and building process of our 29-acre campus off Interstate 200 North in Jackson, Mississippi.
Benevolence Ministry - This ministry provides assistance to qualified members who are experiencing financial hardship. *An application and member guidelines are a requirement.
College of Wisdom - This ministry offers courses in a classroom setting to persons who are interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Biblical truths.
College Ministry - This facet of Singles Ministry aspires to reach out to college students in the metropolitan Jackson area and provide specific and relevant ministry.
Comfort Ministry - Comfort Ministry consoles, uplifts, supports and strengthens members who have had death, tragedy or illness. Visitation Ministry, a division of Comfort Ministry, visits members who request. Food, love, and prayer are offered on a continuous pre-determined basis to facilitate a speedy recovery.
***Prayer Ministry - Effective July 1, 2007, Prayer Ministry is divided into three (3) tiers.
1st Tier - Corporate Prayer is executed as Pre-Service Prayer and Worship on each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. and each Tuesday evening at 6:15 p.m. All members and guests are welcome to this powerful time of prayer!!
2nd Tier - Intercessory Prayer meets on Saturday mornings. Intercessory Prayer ministry is a selected team of seasoned prayer members (approved by Pastor Ware) who pray specific goals as directed by the Holy Spirit and lead by appointed leadership.
3rd Tier - The Strategic Prayer Force is an appointed team of mature prayer warriors who pray specific prayer goals for Pastors Adrian & Tonya Ware and The Church Triumphant. These Prayer Teams all focus on praying for lost souls and any other issue that affects the local area and the world.Covenant Keepers Marriage Ministry - This ministry is designed to teach couples how to use Biblical principles to create and maintain a healthy and fulfilling marital union.
Daughters of Wisdom - The Daughters of Wisdom Ministry provides spiritual and practical teachings to women of all ages to assist them in living victorious in all areas of life.
Finance Ministry - This ministry is responsible for the accounting of the tithes and offerings. A third party accounting firm, Chitwood and Chitwood, oversee accounting, contribution statements, and maintain the church’s compliance with regulations and laws.
God-inspired Dance Ministry - This ministry provides dance during worship services. Trained dancers come before the congregation with graceful movement to enhance the worship experience.
Maximized Living Bookstore and Gift Shoppe - This is a unique Christian Bookstore that stocks books, tapes, CDs, and other wholesome resources that are designed to assist each person in his/her spiritual growth. The bookstore also offers health and well-being products.
Media Ministry (Television/Video/Audio) - Media Ministry is responsible for recording and duplicating worship services on various formats.
Men of Excellence Stewards Ministry - Stewards Ministry provides support to Pastor Ware, help the members when necessary, and assist in maintaining order throughout the facility.
N-Credible Youth Sundays - This is a powerful Ministry for youth and teens ages 8 to 16. N-Credible Youth meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday during worship services. Thsi ministry provides exciting and relevant lessons to help youth grow spiritually. Creative illustrations and activities are also enjoyed by the youth that attend the N-Credible Youth Sunday sessions.
N-Credible Youth “Out of the Box” Ministry - a division of N-Credible Youth designed to provide outside activities such as organized sports, movies, games, skating, etc., for youth ages 8 to 16. “Out of the Box” Ministry gives youth an opportunity to associate with other “positive peers”.
New Members Ministry - The New Members Ministry oversees Membership 100, 101, 102, 103 and the New Members Reception. These classes give an overview of the 24 Ministries, an explanation of the foundational teachings of the ministry and basic church operations. This ministry informs new members of the benefits of membership.
Outreach Ministry - This ministry’s purpose is to go outside of the church’s four walls and provide ministry to the community. Trained teams go into the local areas to minister salvation and prayer. Van ministry is a part of this ministry and provides transportation to those who would like to attend church services on the designated Sundays.
Personal Assistant/Special Care Ministry - The Personal Assistant/Special Care Ministry is designed to assist Pastors Adrian and Tonya Ware during all times in which they are providing ministry.
Praise & Worship Ministry (includes Drama Ministry) - This area of ministry is truly unique and unlike any other ministry. This ministry is responsible for leading the congregation into pure and uplifting worship that is pleasing to the Father.
Promotions Ministry - This ministry is responsible for distributing the message of the gospel through print, television, radio, internet and all other forms available.
Salvation Ministry - The Salvation Ministry is responsible for specifically explaining the process of being born again, being filled with the Holy Spirit, Water Baptism, and Church Membership to those who respond to Altar Ministry in the main service. *Water baptism is offered after each Sunday Service.
Singles Ministry - This area of ministry provides teaching sessions designed to bring wholeness and a sense of purpose to single persons. It is also designed to offer wisdom in self assessment and assessing the type of spouse he/she should desire. All unmarried, divorced, widowed, and separated individuals are encouraged to be a part of this ministry.
Sons of Wisdom - This is a mentoring ministry that provides spiritual and practical teachings to males of all ages to assist them in living victorious in all areas of life. Pastor Ware understands the importance of and value of a true Spiritual Father. It is designed to provide direction and accurate knowledge to men 14 and over.
SonShine Nursery and Children’s Ministry - This is an exciting ministry for children ages 0 to 7. SonShine Nursery and Children’s Ministry meets every service and during special events to provide age appropriate lessons, games, and activities that provide a foundation of Christian Biblical truths to children. These lessons are designed to establish each child in his/her individual relationship with God.
Special Events Ministry - This area of ministry is responsible for planning and executing with excellence all special events held or hosted by The Church Triumphant.
Women of Excellence Greeters Ministry - The Greeters Ministry provides hospitality and welcomes guests and members at each service.
