The Dutch Bar
The Dutch Bar was a little dive located on Northview Drive, right off of Northside Drive. In the late 1980’s, on Friday and Saturday nights, the clientele at the Dutch Bar was an interesting mix of several blue-collar regulars and an outright mob of obviously underage drinkers - I was in the latter category.
The Dutch Bar was a center-bar style venue with plenty of seating and jukebox selections ranging from Hank Williams Jr. to Hank Williams Sr.
The Dutch Bar was widely loved for accepting the most freakishly terrible fake identification ever self-laminated.
