One place I really like that has been around forever and I don’t hear much about is The Elite downtown. It’s nothing fancy, but their rolls are yummy, and the veal cutlet is a classic comforting treat. I’m reminded of my grandfather when I go there because it was one of his favorite restaurants.

Aug. 17, 2007, marked the 60th anniversary of the Elite Restaurant. The Elite has been known over the years for its friendly service, signature rolls and house specialties like the Breaded Veal Cutlets and Mexican Enchiladas. The Elite Restaurant is a staple in the Downtown community serving business people, politicians, and visitors. So stop by for a bite to eat and congratulate them on their years of success and enjoy the delicious food.
