3. the people, the music and the will to press on no matter how many times it gets knocked down. - Heather Bradley

6. It’s easy to get involved, meet people, and have fun!-Katie McClendon
7. Southern Hospitality-friendly people, the nightlife, the parks, the State Fair, karaoke fun, the Trade Mart, Jackson Convention Complex, hardly any traffic, being able to drive from one side of the city to another, in less than 30 minutes, not just being a faceless customer at local businesses! - 16WAPTNews
8. The Belhaven Neighborhood! I love that no two houses are alike and that people are so friendly. Also, a walk through Belhaven is a walk through history… “And here’s the house where Eudora Welty grew up.” “Here’s the house where Blair and Blanche Batson live, who donated the wing at the Children’s Hospital.” “Here’s where amazing local artist Tony DiFatta lives...”
9. Moving inside the city limits, though you were warned not to, and loving it! Moved to Belhaven, on Carlisle, by the way… - Shane Adams
10. F. Jones Corner, Peaches, and the future of downtown Jackson. - Quin Breland
11. The Fondren Neighborhood! I love that our neighborhood is so diverse and funky and alive. That neighbors place statuary and totem poles and blue metal dogs in their front yards midst lots and lots of flowers. That old tall trees shade us. That we know each other and look out for each other. That we are the hot place to show up after 5 for music and fun and good food and drink and staying connected. - Jackie Warren Tatum
12. Parham Bridges Park. A shaded mile of winding walking trail around tennis courts and a child’s playground. Nifty sports clothing store, well-kept bathrooms, and water fountains. Jackie Warren Tatum
13. The hospitality!! Jackson is filled with extremely hospitable people who help on all levels; one of kind!! - S. Green
14. the live music scene! - r.davis
