3. You’ve popularized your own name for The Clarion-Ledger.
4. You roll your eyes when you hear the word “sledgehammer"—er, “sludgehammer.”
5. You go to Fondren ArtMix every single time it happens.
6. You had an easy time learning about U.S. presidents in grade school because you grew up in Presidential Hills.
7. You say Virden Dishin instead of Virden Addition.
8. You’ve gone 85 mph on I-220 without realizing it (or maybe you did).
9. You remember when Lakeland Skating Center was called Roller Express.
10. You know what a Tote-Sum store is.
11. When the Mississippi State Fair is in town, you always go at least twice before they leave.
12. You remember Officer Friendly.
13. You’ve seen a “Yank Frank” bumper sticker.
14. You own any music produced by Malaco Records.
15. You’re thankful that the lines are shorter at the county courthouse when you get your car tag renewal.
16. You’ve ever paid over $500 for a car tag.
17. You had a “candy lady” in your neighborhood.
18. You’ve stood in the freezing cold watching a Jackson State homecoming parade.
19. You know that the Red Rooster Village is a convenience store/laundromat and not an actual village.
20. You’re ready for the King Edward Hotel renovation to be completed.

22. You’ve ever fed a goat at the Jackson Zoo.
23. You wish downtown didn’t have so many one-way streets.

32. Crossroads is more than just a Britney Spears movie to you.
33. You look forward to the Convention Center more than your birthday.
34. You know The Mayflower is not just something Pilgrims rode on.
35. You know what The Head is, even though it’s gone.
36. You think Kamikaze and David Banner are cooler than Lil Jon and Usher.
37. When you think downtown, you think rental property, not crime cesspool.
38. Your idea of fun is a King Elementary concert.
39. You’d rather have a Tony DiFatta, Ellen Langford, Tony Davenport, Ginger Williams or William Goodman painting than a Van Gogh in your living room.

45. You remember Restaurant Rendezvous! Tommy Turk we miss you! 
46. If you climbed (then slid down) The Rocket at Riverside Park.
47. If you went on a field trip to the old Natural Science Museum.
48. You ever stole nut muffins at Widow Watson’s in Metrocenter. Score quadruple if it was after seeing State beat the Bear 6-3 at Memorial Stadium.
49. You remember the cartoon that bent over backwards for Blackwell Chevrolet.
